WFPB Flapjack Recipe
Description
Sweet, whole-foods flapjacks.
Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 100g macadamia nuts
- 150g dates - soaked for 10 minutes in boiling water & drained
- 150g rolled oats
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp hot water
Directions
Heat oven to Gas Mark 6/200C/400FRemove core of apple & chop
Process the apple, macadamia nuts & vanilla together
Add the dates and water and process until fairly smooth
Put oats in a bowl. Add nut/fruit mixture and mix well
Spread into baking tin and bake for 15 mins
Leave to cool before cutting into pieces
